| Requirements and Responsibilities For Computer Forensics Analyst II |
| Performs forensic analysis on computer systems and servers. Investigates cybersecurity incidents using digital forensic techniques and tools. Collects, preserves, and analyzes digital evidence. Recovers emails, databases, and other potentially lost or compromised data. Documents and reports on findings, and recommends next steps. Helps evaluate the organization's digital forensic tools and procedures and recommends potentially valuable changes. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience. |
