| Requirements and Responsibilities For Environmental Risk Management Specialist |
| Performs environmental risk analysis studies to identify potential risks and to develop mitigation solutions. Evaluates existing operations, processes, suppliers, and assets to support implementing and maintaining an environmental policy to meet regulatory requirements. Ensures that environmental due diligence is properly supported. Manages data collection and analysis using business intelligence tools to develop risk models. Maintains knowledge of current environmental regulations. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement response and preparedness plans to address potential environmental issues. Typically has a background in environmental science. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience. |
