| Provides leadership, guidance, and oversight to an organization's healthcare provider network to meet organizational goals and objectives. Oversees, evaluates, and continuously improves processes and systems to provide effective services and support to members. Plans and defines strategies to grow and develop a diverse and comprehensive provider network and communicates objectives to stakeholders. Responsible for negotiating and administering contracts, maintaining provider relations, and monitoring feedback and procedures for regulatory compliance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. Has acquired the business acumen and leadership experience to become a top function or division head. |
