| Requirements and Responsibilities For Scrum Product Ownership Senior Manager |
| Manages and communicates the product vision to Agile development teams utilizing the Scrum framework. Collaborates with stakeholders to define product requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria and to produce a clearly defined backlog. Evaluates customer needs to prioritize requirements and manage project lifecycle to deliver the best value to the customer and the business. Acts as a bridge between stakeholders and development teams to remove roadblocks, resolve conflicts, and decide actions. Reviews and documents feedback to help improve processes, workflow, or product development. Oversees development to ensure requirements are implemented effectively within the required timelines. Manages and evaluates project budgets. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO). Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
