| Requirements and Responsibilities For Telemedicine Physician |
| Provides consultation and care for patients remotely using telemedicine technology and tools. Collaborates with nurses, specialists, and other physicians to assess and direct patients to the appropriate level of medical care delivery. Utilizes video conferencing, mobile health applications, and remote patient monitoring devices to collect and analyze health data. Requires a MD. Requires State License to Practice. Typically reports to a medical director. Years of experience may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. |
