| Requirements and Responsibilities For VP of Capture Management |
| Leads and oversees an organization's capture strategy to identify competitive advantages and secure contracts for an organization. Develops processes and standards to identify optimal customers and opportunities that align with the organization's capabilities and business objectives. Continuously evaluates and improves capture strategies to effectively identify, pursue, and win business contracts. Collaborates with senior stakeholders to develop pricing strategies that are competitive, profitable, and aligned with the organization's objectives. Builds and maintains relationships with government agencies, industry partners, and key decision-makers to maintain visibility and enhance competitive positioning. Monitors status and performance reports to track opportunities, bid success rates, and capture revenue. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. |
