| Requirements and Responsibilities For Digital Transformation Director |
| Directs the identification, evaluation, and adoption of digital technologies that innovate and improve business processes, products, and customer engagement. Develops policies and procedures to ensure digital activities comply with regulatory requirements and align with the organization's standards and objectives. Assists with the development of an organization's digital transformation strategy and roadmap to ensure alignment with business objectives and capacity. Collaborates with IT, operations, marketing, and finance to understand needs and successfully implement and scale digital solutions. Leads and oversees maturity assessments, gap analyses, and technology benchmarking to understand business needs and improve the organization's competitiveness. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. Manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. |
