| Requirements and Responsibilities For Insurance Claims Service Supervisor |
| Supervises a team of claims service representatives to ensure timely and accurate response to claims-related inquiries and requests. Assigns and monitors workload to balance volume and meet established service and quality standards. Reviews interactions and case handling to verify accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to procedures. Provides coaching, training, and day-to-day guidance to support representative development and performance. Resolves escalated service issues and complaints from claimants, policyholders, and providers. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and service-level standards. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. |
